My grandson and I ran the Washington Boro 5K again. The first time we ran it was back in 2013. (There is a blog post about that here.<\/a>) That was his first 5K. This time with a little more experience under his belt, he was more focused. He won first place in his age group. I won second place in my age group. This year the race was held at Meadow Breeze Park in Washington Township rather than in the actual Boro of Washington, which was kind of a bummer. But Meadow Breeze was where I ran my very first 5K in 2011 after getting serious about my health and losing 40 pounds. (See “I Ran My First 5K Today!”<\/a>)<\/p>\n
