Planets and Sunrise – February 3, 2008 (Photos)
(Originally posted on the website Heron Flight)
I got up to see Venus and Jupiter close together in the early morning sky. Unfortunately, at 5:30, there were clouds making the view hazy. Since I was up early, I decided to stick around and take photos of the sunrise. These were taken in Mansfield Twsp., NJ. My apologies for the graininess of the darker photos. I’m still using an archaic Sony Mavica digital camera. One day you will have to stop by and I’ll show you the 35MM photos I took of the same sunrise.
(In the first three photos, Venus is the brighter planet to the left, Jupiter in the middle, a nice crescent Moon to the right.)
